[Maia had already begun exploring without Harley. The Elegante was a large boat, so it wasn't as if there would be a shortage of places to visit once the bubbly clown of a woman managed to find her.
Maia managed to find the gym, though, and so far she's been spending a decent fraction of her time in there. It wasn't as if there were really any gyms back in her time, unless one chose to count those combat dummies that were scattered throughout Geyser Rock. This time, Maia has chosen to forgo her Precursor armour and is instead wearing a far more casual ensemble that she picked out from the bazaar. Partially because Maia enjoys the idea of having a bit of variety in her wardrobe, but mostly because sweating in cloth is far more comfortable than sweating in metal.
This environment is certainly more enjoyable than the rest of the ship, although punching and kicking a sandbag isn't nearly as fun as attacking someone who can fight back. Still, it's better than nothing.]
