Corded Petticoat
Well, I just finished this corded petticoat. It's made of heavy red cotton, and has about a 90" hem. It's got 22 welts in it- 12, then 6, then 4. I thought about putting more but I got tired of sewing the welts, and figured that 22 would be enough. Starched and ironed, which made a big difference. It's pretty effective, no? I need to put it on under a dress but I'm too lazy right now. I might change the waistband, right now it's a little thick.
Purple kirtle is nearly done, just gotta hem it.
