His Ultimate Failure
It hurt so much.
More than he could bear.
Bobby called it Sam’s body. “Shouldn’t we bury the body now?”
It wasn’t a body.
It was Sam.
No one was going to touch Sam.
Not a body.
He had to flagellate himself for failing Sam.
How could he punish himself for the sin of his ultimate failure if he couldn’t look at the beautiful yet completely still face of his brother?
Dean stared at Sam. Even squinting his eyes didn’t make it appear that Sam was merely sleeping.
Wiping the tears from his own eyes.
This was Dean’s darkest hour.
