So if you find a hex bag in someone's house then you take it with you and after you are done looking at it you wrap it back up, is it no threat to you?
If an Angel finds a hex bag in the wall of your room and hands it to you and then you (Sam) have it in your hand in the car, has it lost its power because it isn't where the witch left it and did the spell?
What is the deal with hex bags? Are they only dangerous to the one person the witch was trying to get, and only at the location the witch did the spell? Am I an idiot?
Has this been explained and I just don't get it?

Is there a general concensus to how many female sexual partners that canon Sam would have had?
I know about Jess and Madison and that's it. And Madison would be one woman in 4 years.
