RL Randomness-Hubby, Hello Kitty, Jim Morrison, and Stephen Colbert
About a week ago hubby mentions something about Jim Morrison. I smiled and started giggling.
Hubby: What? That isn't funny at all.
Me: It's just that in Hello Kitty, I had Dean impersonate a Detective Morrison to help Sammy with his suit kink.
Hubby: Really? What?
Me: Well the boys use aliases all the time and they usually use names from musicians and singers, like Bonham, Plant, Tyler and Perry.
Hubby: So Dean dresses up as Detective Morrison and then what?
Me: You probably don't want to know, but he finds Sam in a library, takes him into a room all in character and gets out the handcuffs and then...
Hubby: Okay, I get it. That's enough
And then last night, I wasn't home and got home kind of late and hubby tells me that Stephen Colbert had mentioned Hello Kitty in his monologue. We don't have little kids but he knows Hello Kitty is a toy character, but he thinks of Hello Kitty in terms of Dean and Sam now. He hasn't read them, but knows I have written these little stand alone fics.
Hubby: Hey, guess what? Stephen Colbert is a fan of your Hello Kitty he talked about it in his monologue tonight.
Me: Right
Hubby: You don't know who reads that stuff you post.
Me: I know, on one of my hit counters I can see where the people read from, and there is someone from Vancouver BC who reads my stuff and in my little mind, I like to think it's someone from the show, like the makeup girl or something.
Hubby: You never know. That's what I'm saying. Maybe even Stephen Colbert reads Hello Kitty.
Me: Yeah, you never know.
