I woke up with a headache this morning. It's been a long time since THAT happened. I dunno what brought that on, but it was pretty annoying.
I was feeling like I was falling into a boring rut (helping mom, work, sleep, repeat), so I decided to hit up a movie this afternoon. I ended up seeing The Hangover because I was in the mood for something funny. It was decent--started out a little slow, but it comes together nicely. I'd recommend a cheap showing or a rental.
Last night, I started recording lines for the KOR parody fandub pilot. Madoka's first, since she's the easiest to do. I re-did Manami's lines today, at Zack's recommendation (which I agreed on, plus I forgot to record a line at the end, anyway, so it all works out). After that, I think I just have Hikaru and the cat's lines left. It doesn't take as long as I thought it might to record them all, though I suppose that's because the episode isn't as long as a normal one. Each character's lines took me between a half-hour/45 minutes to record. Recording the lines is...fun, but weird. If someone happened to walk in on me, or spy at me through the window, it would probably be a funny sight: me, sitting on my futon, a laptop in my lap and a mic in my hand, reading lines and shouting at people who aren't there. (Or in the case of me doing the cat's lines...meowing at people who aren't there? XD) But this'll be good practice, I'm sure. I'm fairly pleased with what I've done so far, so hopefully this fandub experience will be good for me.
*yawns* At least the weather's been great lately. Nice and mild. ♥
