Boooo
I had such a nice day yesterday--I got out of the house early, ran some errands, did a shit-ton of walking while catching up on listening to podcasts, and even found some things while thrifting to put in my Etsy shop! So of course, today I woke up feeling headachey and stuffed up and sneezing my head off.
So I guess the lesson there is don't go out in public, you'll just get sick! :P
(For reals, though, if was probably just because it got really cold and windy while I was out and I didn't really expect it to be that cold, so I didn't bundle up.......so it's completely my fault -__- lol.)
BUT on the plus side, my Sailor Uranus Figuarts figure came in the mail today!! X3 I saved up Amazon credit to get her, she looks so cool....and she came with a super adorable heart-eyes face for Usagi!

The Sailor Uranus came with a lot more hand options than Sailor Moon did. And the crossed-arm pieces look really cool!! She also came with her sword, of course. Eeeeeee I love it! XD I hope I can get Neptune eventually, too. I also want to get Tuxedo Mask....and hopefully someday the rest of the outer senshi, too. In a perfect world, I'd love to get ALL the senshi, but I doubt I'd be able to afford it OR have room for them all. They did preview a Sailor V at WonderFest recently and I totally admit I REALLLLLLLLLLLY kinda want one. I've always liked Sailor V's uniform WAY more than Sailor Venus'. It just looks so much cooler! (Plus the mask!!) heh...I guess this kinda makes up for the fact that I wasn't able to buy many Sailor Moon dolls or figures back in the day. I mean, most of the Japanese dolls were cute at least...garage kits looked nice, but those were pricy and you had to put them together and paint them yourself...The 90s figures looked SO BAD in comparison to these! (We had to put up with some of the CRAPPIEST anime figures in the 90s, guys. Feel sorry for us old people, lol. Maybe I should do a podcast ep one of these days specifically to how silly anime figures looked back in the day...not to mention how difficult it used to be to buy em, omg. Now you can get em on Amazon!)
ugh, speaking of podcast stuff, I wanted to do a podcast ep on the history of Toonami, so I emailed the hosts of the Toonami Faithful podcast to see if any of em would be interested in being on the show. So far no reply...I guess I shouldn't be terribly surprised, since I'm sure my podcast audience is NOTHING compared to the downloads THEY probably get. ;P I'll give them a few more days, but after that I guess I'll just have to write them off as "not interested" and figure out who else I could get for that one. Zack's already volunteered to be my backup, but I think I'd kinda like to have at least one more person on board if I could. Guess I'll have to think about who might be the best fit for it.
I hope you all are staying warm, esp. my friends on the east coast! It's even getting chilly here, though nowhere near as the rest of the country, I'm sure >__>;;
