...wait, what?!
Yup. It's true. We got between 4-6 inches today!
Crazy, right? This is the most it's EVER snowed in the....what, 5 years I've lived down here now? It looks a lot like how WA would look in the winter time! o.O
Thankfully we were lucky enough to get a fair amount of warning before this happened, so we didn't panic or feel like we were "stranded"...we have enough food so that we don't need to go anywhere for a few days, and according to the local weatherman, it's supposed to warm up slowly after today, so we should be fine. Amazingly, we haven't lost power once, which is kinda nice.
The only thing that's kind of annoying is that I have stuff I need to mail, but there's no way to get to the post office in this weather. >__> But one or two days delay shouldn't be that bad...I'm sure people will understand.
Amazingly, my copy of the first volume of Jojo's Bizarre Adventures: Phantom Blood made it in the mail today (it was actually supposed to be here yesterday, but with the weather, I wasn't holding my breath!). So it was nice to spend the bulk of my snow day relaxing and reading, since there wasn't a hell of a lot we could really do. XD
Hope everyone else is staying warm!
