I have recently gotten this song stuck in my head and I wanted to have a small rant about those songs you get stuck in your head. This year it seems I am particularly susceptable to hearing even a part of a song and not being able to let it go. I have tried just listening to the song but it only makes itself more firmly buried in my mind. Two of the most frequent songs have been Santogold's Shove it and LInkin Park's A Place for My Head. I like both songs and the problem is that their intros are really fun and cool. I am a sucker for a good intro and a sweet bass line.
And now to get completely sidetracked. I have come back home and am catching up on shows that I missed while I was away. BTW the Mentalist is a great show that everyone should watch. The characters are fun and interesting and the writing is smart and witty. I also caught up on my daytime soaps and let me just say that OLTL is quite incapable of knowing when a s/l needs to be tied up. They have a great issue with tying up loose ends. Hello writers there is totally a difference between suspense and dragging something out to the point of boredom. That being said, tell Starr and Cole that Chloe is Hope and have Jessica return her to her parents. Also for Y&R writers please capitalize on the great chemistry between Kevin and Mac and let them have scenes together as friends. To the writers of ATWT please let Parker realize that he is out of line and snap him out of this whiny phase also stop making Meg sympathetic to everyone but the audience b/c if you want me to side with her she needs to stop being so wishy washy and all around boring. Also thumbs up to Shonda Rhymes for the finales of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.
Looking at this post I have realized that I watch way to many shows and I am going to stop writing now and contemplate getting a life. TTFN
