Seung-ri had expected protests, of course. He wasn’t stupid. He had expected a tantrum, some yelling and maybe even tears… But laughter? He didn’t see that one coming.

“Honestly? HONESTLY, SEUNG-RI!?”

He had to stand his ground, but it was like standing in the destruction path of a full-blown typhoon and he was standing alone.  His reflexes told him to shield his face from Ji-yong’s hands but the punch never hit. When he peeked between his fingers he saw Ji-yong’s eyes go from brown to the blackest of blacks and it made him shrink back, it made him smaller.

“I don’t think you understand,” said Ji-yong, flinging his arms out so fast that Seung-ri had to jump backwards to stay clear of bruises. “I made you. I wrote your songs, I dressed you, I put you up on that fucking stage, Seung-ri - it was all me! I made you.”

Yes, Seung-ri knew that. He knew what Ji-yong had done but it couldn’t always work like that, it wasn’t as if ---

“ I own you, maknae.” Ji-yong’s hysteric laughter died down and was replaced by something so much scarier as he leaned forward, baring his white canines in a horrible sneer. Seung-ri’s first impulse was to cower down and crawl under the bed until the storm had passed, but that wasn’t allowed. If he did that, no make-up in the world would be able to cover up the damage.

“Hyung,” he breathed, painfully aware that he was bending backwards to get away from Ji-yong’s teeth, “I just think that---”

“I don’t care what you think!”

Ji-yong’s hands were clenching into fists and Seung-ri grabbed at the reins of his frightened heart with all his might, cementing his feet to the ground.

“Please, can’t we just ---”

“You’re mine, Seung-ri. Just mine and I can do whatever I want with you.”

Seung-ri knew, but the truth still hurt. He had always known, from the moment YG changed their mind and took him in, that it was going to be like this. He looked down, unable to withstand the fury in Ji-yong’s eyes.

“I’m G-Dragon, I’m Kwon Ji-yong and what I say goes. Do you understand that, my Seung-ri?”

Shake your head. Just do it. Don’t be his puppet, he can’t hurt you, Strong Baby, you can do this!

“Do you understand.”

Just like that. “…Yes.”

“Good boy.”

Seung-ri kept his eyes lowered as he felt Ji-yong’s touch crawl across his cheek. He held his breath.

“You don’t break up with me, Seung-ri.”

And just like that, it was as though nothing had ever happened.

End.
