So we have a contract on the house! Now M. is in the process of finding an inspector without too many Better Business Bureau black marks against him/her to check it out.
I am in the library ostensibly studying for my Pensions exam. I did make it through the ERISA statutes, but the IRC (an old friend and normally stalwart companion) is proving a little more difficult to grok. My head aches with effort (though whether I can lay the blame on the IRC or the crazy barometric pressure fluctuations accompanying the thunderstorms currently sailing through our area is another story.)
Can't wait to go to Jazzercise today. Mostly because its better than being in the library. I've also been for the last two days in the row and am very proud of myself. It reminds me of when I was a cria and my sister llama and I would dance around the living room with my parents' tape recorder playing "The Big Chill" soundtrack. What I lack in grace I make up in enthusiasm.
Made the most excellent omelette with sauteed green onions from the farmers market, cilantro and chopped baby spinach. Magnifique!
M. is fantasizing about power tools, I'm starting to fantasize about putting up mezuzahs and sending out "We have moved" postcards with a dopey picture of M. and I imitating the "American Gothic" theme is some subversive manner. Ah, isn't it strange how its the weird little things we obsess over?
