So. We have now reached the day of someone very special, very different, and very controversial.
I give you...
The Great Bill Kaulitz.
I know this is a lot of pictures but it's so hard to encapsulate Bill in just five or six. So many different styles, different behaviours, different presentations...
He's a true man of mystery in someways.
Private love for this kind of Bill. He's just... IDK.
Brave and bold - he kind of reminds me of some kind of punk mafia man or something.
I love this one - he's very calm and quiet. I don't know where it's from but he looks very serene - like he's preparing internally.
Camera whore - Bill is one. Even if it's his own camera.
He absolutely throws himself into every performance I've seen - keeping it going as much as he can right until the end of the night.
It's one of things I admire about him.
This was Bill during his later masculine period.
You know like how Picasso had the blue period and then the red period, and so on?
Bill has masculine and feminine periods, usually ending up with something approaching androgyny, but often resting at either extreme for a while.
It's wonderful to see him able to slide up and down those scales, and to do so of his own free will.
The lion mane period - and not even at the height of it - but it's a very good one.
It really carved out his individuality again - you can't wear hair and clothes like that without saying fuck you, social norms at least twice before breakfast.
Teeth! And red eyes. I love this picture purely for the adorkable factor.
He's so excited and grinny and unashamed of his facial expressions. So uninhibited in this picture.
It was at the very beginning of their more public career of Tokio Hotel, I think.
During what I call his ultra fem phase - he really pushed the boundaries when he had this hair style, and turned towards the feminine look.
Also, look at his belt buckle.
There's so many ways to take it, not all of them PG-13, and not all of them sitting perfectly comfortably.
I don't necessarily have favourite eras to write - I know a lot of people in the fandom are still very attached to the hyper-feminine and sweet Bill of around 2008 or something, but I loved this era for how far he pushed his fashion position.
Also, that he perfectly captured beautiful for me. Not essentially masculine, or feminine, but that perfect position in between.
Ah, such a sweet Bill. Very young, and very sweet - had I discovered TH at this age, I would have been more attracted to Bill than to Tom.
What can I say? Chains and dog collars and a pretty face - I wouldn't have been able to resist.
Another lion mane - slightly blonder, and still working the smoky eyed look, and I still love the dog collar look.
It amuses me to think that they were dog collars.
He was too thifty to pay for the fashion version, so he just glued on a star to Butch's leather collar from the local pet shop and called it fashion.
Without make - up and one of my absolute favourites.You can see the true amazingness of his face.
Like him or hate him, it's hard to deny that he is a very beautiful man.
And to finish, the very latest snap of the Great Bill.
He's again running that line, but I have a special love for him.
And we can see the black locket which is very special to him.
He never takes it off, and inside, is supposed to be a picture of Tom and his mother. I don't know if it's true, but it's certainly very interesting.
