New Apartment Move-In Tomorrow
Hard to believe, but it's already time to move into our new apartment. Nicole and I have been living with my sister and her fiancé for almost four months while we looked for a new apartment for ourselves. More than a month ago, we found a place in a town south of Portland called Tualatin near my workplace. We were fortunate enough to land an apartment in a surprisingly competitive renters market. Anyway, tomorrow afternoon, we're going to pickup the keys and see our new place! It's going to be a very rough week as we only have so much time to get out of my sister's place and clear out a storage unit we rented before we're charged for July. Plus, I need to keep up with work and some dental appointments I've got on Wednesday.
Truly, it's going to be a crazy week. We're both really looking forward to finally having our own private space again. Sharing a kitchen with three other people is crazy. We've made it work, but it's nearly impossible to share an average fridge between four people. I just hope we can survive the move and that the weather cooperates.
It's amazing that our time here is already over. We're technically within the city limits of Portland here, and it was fun to be a real Portlander for even a short period of time. I just hope this new place is gonna be awesome. Time will tell...
