You're like the only one from that bunch who hasn't been flamed to buggery by the n00bs yet, I expect. Well, out of the ones who made it to LJ, that is. OTOH, one of the biggest trolls on radw is now writing some epically bad fanfic with only a tenuous connection to Who, I noticed. The sort that's so bad that he's already gained fans just for the so-bad-it's-good factor.

And apart from h8ing various aspects of NuWho (instead of... er... h8ing Seven), I haven't changed all that much in the past ten years. Except now if I say "lololol, the Doctor wants to suck the Master's cock", I can actually make it happen in Photoshop. And you haven't stopped being cuddly and lovely and fucking funny, which is of the good. ♥

A who_daily parody needs to happen. Satire is a tricky thing, there will always be those who just don't get it and complain about the supposed offesiveness, but it's worth doing when some people will appreciate it for what it's supposed to be. If the n00bs lack anything resembling a sense of humour, then that's their problem, not yours.

OTOH, if you are already feeling crap, the last thing you need is a mass of comments from raving nu!Who fangirls accusing you of h8ery. (Well that was helpful, wasn't it? *facepalm*)

I'm so, so glad that the only people who are worse than me are fellow Finns. And that it isn't a bunch of stuck-up grannies, but a bunch of angry young men. They also rant a lot about how shit Big Brother and tabloids are. Ahhhhhh. Refreshing.

And yeah, it's a whole cultural concept, feeling pissed off (the literal term for it is feeling "cunted", which is the strongest term possible in Finnish--lady parts are more powerful in Finnish than terms describing unfing). I kind of like that. And I read somewhere that Finnish doctors said the most common way for Finns to report depression and general ill feeling was to say "my chest hurts and I feel cunted".
