It's my day off! Time to WRITE!

Lately, I’ve been less focused about what I need to do and instead just do it. This has particularly been beneficial for my writing. I feel like I’m moving forward much easier than before. I love it! I need to come up with names for some characters though. Currently they’re listed by title and I’d really rather not do that. I want them to be at least a little personable despite not being the most human of characters. I’d really rather they had names! I can’t seem to think of anything right now though. I also have no idea how I’m supposed to bring in a particular idea. So I’m going to keep writing and see what happens.

One of my biggest pet peeves in reading is constant perspective change. I know it can serve a purpose but I’m desperately trying not to constantly change perspective. I don’t know if that helps or hinders the story though! I will need to change perspective though since four of my characters are otherwise disconnected from everyone and everything else. Even though that’s kind of the point, I think it’s unfair to readers to have them thrown at them randomly (as it would seem now). I still don’t want to do constant perspective change though! I’ll have to find a way to combine the two. It also just dawned on me that my four disconnected characters are the only ones that are properly named. They have the least page time but they have names and personality. Hrm, I need to work on that! And in my defense, it’s only two characters that really need names. Everyone else is fine.

I’m excited to be working on this. There’s so much that’s changed from my original idea, but not in a bad way. I feel a lot better (more confident) about this than before. I don’t know if that’s because I’m older or because I’ve decided to just do what I can.

Here’s a list of things I want to include:
Snow globe
Candy Swamp
Hourglass heart
