Yeah!!!! I have won complete domination over the office furniture! Next, I am taking over the employee parking spaces. Went and spoke with my new boss (almost peed myself, by the way) who was totally cool about it, and five minutes after our meeting was on his hands and knees with a tape measure trying to find a good place for me to sit. By the time I got back from yummy chinese food, my new desk was assembled right in the middle of the action! Was able to sit in on a lot of training, and now have a vague idea of what I might be responsible for in my new position. Seems like good info to know.
So far, my weekend has been pretty good...went to see Munich despite zuppy28 calling me and telling me that her XMAS gift to me was the advice that Munich would bore the living *&*%(#@^$!!! out of me. (Don't worry she also got me chopsticks, a very cool photo album of my wedding, and a Vietnamese ipod case, among other things.) Although the movie was pretty damn gorey, we had a good time and did lots of fun shopping while we were waiting for it to start. I even got to gorge on movie theater popcorn and dippin' dots, which are my secret passion. Tonight I am hoping to go to a cute little hole-in-the-wall Thai place my husband's co-worker raves about. (Hard to believe federal agents discuss cute Thai restaurants at work, but....I guess anything goes.) Tomorrow I plan on getting my ass in gear and studying for the GMATs, since I am supposed to be taking them at the end of the month. Will probably spend the afternoon instead figuring out how to sex up my livejournal with sophisticated icons and downloaded photos.
