me vs the filing cabinets
So, started my new job Tuesday....First day, I really liked it. I received a lot of training, and was pretty busy. Second day, a little less training, but still ok. Today? Abandoned, and as usual, I am sitting in "temporary space", completely isolated from the team. Pretty hard to learn a job when you aren't sitting anywhere near the rest of the team that you are supposedly learning from. They claim that they are moving to a bigger office space the beginning of March, but of course there's no guarantee. And, two months is a really friggin long time to be sitting in the middle of nowhere. So, tomorrow, I get to harass by boss about moving stuff around to squeeze me in somewhere. I am hoping that I take precedent over the location of the filing cabinets, but sadly, I'm not too optimisitic. I hate to be confrontational, especially day 4 of a new job, but I am tired of being miserable at every new job I take. Ugggghhhh...not looking forward to tomorrow...
