Is anyone busy South of the Mason Dixon?
Ok, so I lied. I did not spend the weekend sexing up my livejournal. But I do need to thank fadingembers for sending me some info! Thank you! I will start practicing. I also think that I need to start posting more regularly. Seems like a lot happens between each post. For now, quick update: Can't seem to get a grasp on the new job. One minute I love it, the next minute I am contemplating laying down in the parking lot and letting someone run over me. Part of the problem is that I had this high-stress, crappy paying job in NY that I was addicted to. My friends have said it was the equivalent of staying with a boyfriend who hits you. My dad used to tell me I could have been on a show entitled "When Bad Jobs Happen to Good People". Now I think everyone is being a little hard on the job. The pay was shitty, I'll give you that. But it was fun. REALLY fun. And it was BUSY! I have found that jobs here South of the Mason Dixon line are not busy. They CLAIM to be busy, but they LIE. The good thing is I am learning a lot of useful software applications that will look make me look like a genius on my resume. So for now I think I am going to stay at the boring job (which mind you is only a 10 minute commute) and learn lots of exciting software and save some money. Then when we go back to NY I can go back to the busy job and have my friends and family yell at me.
