I "AM" home.
Today driving home on the freeway...highway...whatever it is going 70mph along with everyone else in front of me. All of a sudden cars are swerving and coming to a complete halt in front of me.
Why...because a mama duck and her ducklings decided to cross the road during rush hour traffic on the 494! OMG...it was just SO cool. I don't think in LA anyone would have stopped or swerved...it was just amazing how we all just stopped for this lil group of ducks.
I love it here... It is SO quiet, and no more helicopters at night. No gun fire sounds...no car chases. I can hear birds of SO many species during the day...and frogs at night.
I am home where I belong.
