Party with the neighbors
So, the Christmas party with the neighbors was fun. Lots of people showed up and they all brought food. Turns out most of them are really good cooks, too. Somebody brought homemade truffles. Yum! Our hosts had a lovely house and a beautiful back yard with a pool and really nice water feature. The weather was just right for eating outside. Mr Snaz hung out with the neighbors he knew and I went off to meet some new ones. Lots of people have moved out and younger folks have moved in. Might have something to do with the elementary school that got built across the street from my house a couple of years ago. The party broke up early and we all wandered back to our own houses. And I won't see any of those people again until next December. The hazards of being introverted and working odd hours, I guess.
