Get out of jail free
Yesterday I went to work, and when I got there the supervisor told us we could go home if we wanted to. Whee! I usually work overtime on Saturdays, so I left while the leaving was good. I have to work Mondays in December, so this will make up for one of them. Whenever I get unexpected time off, I tend to spend it doing stuff I don't want to be doing during expected time off (if that makes any sense). So I spent the day doing errands and housework. What fun. I did three loads of laundry and almost all the ironing that has been piling up. And I finally planted those flowers I got at Kerby's last Monday whilst out shopping with Ann and Terri. Caught up on some TV watching and some reading, and watched Madagascar with Mr Snaz. Look at all the stuff that can be accomplished when you don't have to go to work. I'm behind on LJ, though.
Now I have to go get ready for the Homeowners Association Christmas party. I like going to hang out with the neighbors. Mr Snaz wants nothing to do with the neighbors, but I make him go anyway. I think it's important to know who lives in my neighborhood and I want them to know who I am. You never know when you might need to give or receive help from a neighbor.
