Wonderful wonderful Film!

Just back from Half Blood Prince. As many have already said, the best one so far! It's not a kids movie anymore. It's grown up in leaps and bounds. I didn't think it was a "darker" film either as some of the cast were saying at the prems. It was funny, with some really witty lines. It was exciting! It was action packed! It was romantic! I haven't read the book lately, have you? So wasn't sure what was left out and what wasn't. Some people seem disppointed that stuff was left out but it wasn't noticable to me other than a certain line Snape said at the end which wasn't there... I think you mean the same thing. But other than that I agree with all your comments about the actors, everyone was excellent. And I loved the humour... I'd forgotten how funny the book was, unless they added more. Whatever, it added a nice alternative dimension to the movie. Can't wait for the next one now and am thrilled they're doing two films from the one book.

I read it - quickly - when I was on my set of nights beforehand. There was nothing left out that was really crucial to the plot. It would have been nice to see some things in but the runtime was already 2.5 hours! People that moan about this don't really look at things sensibly I find. Most things left out that had to do with the story were cleverly woven into the script. But I did miss that Snape line but perhaps they thought it might be too much of a hint to his real character. So I'm glad that the next one is split, although not really sure if the first film will live up to things. I found the first half of the book a bit boring to be honest. It's the second one I will be hanging my tongue out for!

I've sort of felt, with some of the moaning, that they're the kind of people who're looking for something not to like. Almost as though they were determined not to like it in the first place. Whether they think it makes them look clever to pick things to pieces like that - I don't know. But I was expecting it, I must admit ( ... )

You will always get people like that and they spend so much time nit picking that they don't enjoy the actual movie! Just read a revue just like that from the Mail ( ... )
