Randomness
I was on Facebook earlier tonight, and noticed that a great many of my "friends" removed me from their list. True enough, many of them weren't "friends" at all in real life, but I was nonetheless annoyed. I thought about deleting half of my own "friends" list (many of whom are people I barely know), but...I realized it wouldn't be authentic. Only with age am I beginning to recognize the value of authenticity. Deleting people out of spite is not my style. Maladaptive, perhaps, but not my style.
