the top of creme brulee reminds me of stained glass windows.
last night was my parent's 31st wedding anniversary! we went out for dinner...i ended up paying for them as my token of appreciation for putting up with me for 22 years now. we ate creme brulee and it was delicious. it really excites me to crack the carmelized sugar that's been delicately torched by a little blue flame. just that little skill in itself makes the dessert. sure, any one can make the custard nice and creamy...but that little crunch with every bite makes creme brulee, creme brulee. yummmmy! that's it! just wanted to post about creme brulee...
