What the HELL Twin Cities?
So, I read my friendslist and come across this entry by gehayi regarding the arrests near the Republican National Convention, or at least one such arrest.
Apparently the police got a little over zealous in who they arrested near the Republican National Convention and took to picking up random people who happened to be somewhere in the vacinity of protests, or maybe just too close to the Convention. I'm really not sure. What does seem clear is that their arrests included people who weren't breaking any law. Worse, they apparently denied the arrested people their phone calls and generally behaved poorly. This is not the way things are supposed to work in this country, damn it.
