We're supposed to believe in freedom, people

Seriously, the stuff going on around the Republican National Convention is horrible.  And, as far as I can tell, the major media outlets merely mentioned the arrest of "rioters," "violent protesters," and the like.  Nothing about journalists or innocent bystanders.  And need I say that the news I've seen has all implied that the arrests of all the protesters were valid.  Yes, I understand there was some vandalism and violence, but that doesn't explain preemptive arrests, arrests of peaceful protesters, arrests of bystanders, arrests of journalists, or arrests of random folk minding their own business.

I suggested NPR do a serious story on this, since so far the only pieces on the site match the rest of the media, and in one case, also gush about Palin's dress.  What the fuck, NPR?  You used to be liberal media.

Anyway, here's more of the crap.  If the major media won't report, the least we can do is spread the word.
