Rhonda and I stuck to family traditions this year for the holiday, in that we spent Labor Day weekend in a beach house in Surfside with 17 of my family members.  This was our 23rd year together.  Pretty neat, actually.  I look forward to it all year long, every year.  And I'm thrilled that Rhonda is finding enjoyment in the insanity as well.  ( Read more... )

Holy.  Crap.  I've been feeling pretty weak and exhausted lately.  So for shits and grins I plugged some numbers into Calorielab.com, and it would appear that in three days I've consumed a total of 3,988 calories.  That's about 1,300 calories a day.  And that's just the last three days.  Lord knows how long I've been doing this.  On top of my crazy ( Read more... )
