amsterdam day 3 and belgium
so right now i`m in Ghent Belgium typing on this really weird non-qwerty keyboard so this will be a short entry.
saturday night i hung out with josh`s brother and his friends who were also in amsterdam we went to a couple of bars and then called it a night.
yesterday morning i tried to make the boat trip but got lost and couldnt find the place and under estimated how long it would take to get there. so i went to a photo gallery that exhitbited this really good landscape photographer from italy. i was hoping to buy one of the prints at the gift shop but they didn`t have it for sale. then I headed to the anne frank house... very emotional museum. after that I headed to the train to head down to belgium.
got to Anterp Belgiul at about 5pm and took a walk with two sisters from the canary islands and then we went for italian food. i had a pizza, pretty good. after that i headed back to the hostel went up four flights of narrow winding stairs and chatted and played a card game with this girl from slovenia and this guy from taiwan by way of london. woke up a bit late this morning, but now im in Ghent and ready to explore this medevil city in the cold [about 70°) windy rain.
ps europe is soooo expensive... about 2.30 USD for a bottle of water that would cost 1.00 here
