Lex is getting really good at scenting things out. She doesn't attack them, but she's getting really good at showing me where things are. Yesterday, I told her to find rabbit for me. I stayed at the tent, she dashed out into the trees, nose to the ground. About fifteen minutes later, she came back all excited, and led me to a rabbit den. Turned out ( Read more... ) -

Lex has got to be the smartest damn dog I've ever met. She's already picked up on not going to the bathroom in the tent. Now if I could just get her to go further from the campsite so I don't end up stepping in it.

Went for a swim today out in the ocean. Got pretty far, actually, and was about to turn around when I found something. Well. Two somethings, actually. Looked like they'd been shipwrecked, and might've been out there for a day or two. Couldn't just leave 'em out there, so I gathered them up and hauled them back to the island ( Read more... ) -

Red's boyfriend is the biggest lazy-ass I have ever met. Makes me look like a hard worker. We went running the other day and hell. He pretty much just dropped dead after only a little bit.
