Lex is getting really good at scenting things out. She doesn't attack them, but she's getting really good at showing me where things are. Yesterday, I told her to find rabbit for me. I stayed at the tent, she dashed out into the trees, nose to the ground. About fifteen minutes later, she came back all excited, and led me to a rabbit den. Turned out there was a parent and a few babies... Left them alone, though.
This morning I told her I wanted bacon, and she ran out sniffing again. I followed a little ways behind her, and sure enough, she'd found one of the wild boars, and we had some bacon for breakfast.
Oh. Mom said she's gonna send another care package, smaller, this time, but she wants to know if anyone has any requests. And yes, Red, she's already planning on sending you some cookies.
