Here's something that is amusing to me. I was reading an article about "foods that can get you high" and it made me think of this one guy who was actually trying to make a pro drug argument by saying that food IS drugs. Today me and my family made one of my favorite southwestern dishes. They say it was invented here in my town back in the '60's at Woolworth's... the store closed but the restaurant stayed open. Anyway, it's called the "Frito Pie" it contains:

This calls for Osaka again because it's related to the last post. I've poked around Jaden's Steamy Kitchen some more and I find that she has quite a few amusing stories to go along with the recipes she talks about. Such as this one. You can see her blog here.

You know what you get when you cross chopsticks and a fork? A chork! Then I saw there are a bunch of alternative chopsticks on the Market. I myself have a set of shiny black ones with a nice design on them that I can wash and use again and I've gotten good with them (mostly eating noodles) but that chork one looked interesting to me. Something interesting I noticed at the big theater today. I noticed a lot of people who had their own outside food waiting to see a movie out in the hallway. I guess the Century Rio doesn't have a rule against outside food like the dollar movies do? Maybe it's because the dollar movies makes all their money from the snack bar?
