control_freak80 had a fantastic Halloween idea: A Trick or Treat Fic Comment-a-Thon. Her words:
It's quite simple - all you have to do is go comment on fic. There is no minimum or maximum number of comments required - just spread a little halloween cheer by commenting on a story you might not have normally commented on, or leave an extra long comment on one you would have.
We all love comments and feedback - and a lot of time we just don't leave it. I know personally, I've been more guilty than not of this as of late.

If you need somewhere to start, (okay, it's not fic, BUT! Pretty!) pentapus and mutecornett got this awesome idea for SGA Medieval Costume Art Day and the list of pretty characters in pretty clothes is here.
Also, I was going to start discussion on an entirely other topic since I have Contracts reading tonight and it sucks at my soul but since it's Halloween, let's talk about what scares our favorite characters. Criminal Minds recently had an episode where the characters confessed being afraid of the dark or afraid of the woods, etc. We all know Indiana Jones hates snakes. (And okay, after Last Crusade we all know why.) I spent half my childhood afraid of Spring-Heeled Jack which is kind of stupid when you look at the dates and location. Dean Winchester says Sam should be afraid of the dark but in reality? That's not it at all. *grin* So canon or speculation, who is afraid of what? Play even if it's a fandom I might not know. There's a good bet I'll know who the characters are at least.
