lilac_way, I hate you. I always cry at sports movies. What made me think a weekly football drama was a good idea?

Friday Night Lights 1x04: Who's Your Daddy
Maaaaatt! I actually knew a guy who played high school football in Texas. His name was Matt, too. I wonder what ever happened to him. Right, so we all know who I love. Also, YAY, Kyle Chandler's face when he realized that it was his own daughter he told Matt to get in the back seat of a car. That was fantastic.

Jason's girlfriend is irritating, and Not!Jessica Moore is...pissy and bitter. I kinda want to see the earlier three episodes to see what her damage is. Also, what is wrong with Tim? Why must he be emo? Sam Winchester owns his emo, but at least he's got personality about it. Tim just broods. (Well, all I've seen thus far.)

Wait, that's it? I don't get to see the football game? It'd BEST be next week.

The whole thing really reminds me (in a good way) of growing up where I did, with the high school football...and the rival violence, the was a trashcan...although possibly with more alcohol and sex. And evangelism. Actually, I think there was alcohol and sex, but no one invited me. :) And the dance recitals. Thirteen years of dance lessons and recitals and some of those moves looked really familiar.

Veronica Mars 3x04: Charlie Don't Surf
Veronica is an adorable control freak. Dinner with Logan and Dad is nothing short of adorable. Also, I love the way Logan smiles when Veronica and her father get going. They're the family his family failed at being.

"That's not something I open with." I had a conversation a couple of weeks back that I completely would have won had I said, "And I went to the Naval Academy when I was 18." But I didn't. It was petty. But I really did like this because...in the end, we don't really know anything about anyone until we do.

Keith and Harmony are totally cute but um, that's just not a good idea.

Dick? Is generally COMPLETELY IRRITATING and yet strangely hilarious. Aw! And Logan's worried about his genetic future. Er, his current/past genetics and how they impact his future.

Dude, are they trying to turn Logan into Bruce Wayne? I wasn't actually all that impressed with fake!Charlie but now that we KNOW he's a fake? Doom, doom, doom. (Also, I wouldn't have minded being strung along for a couple of episodes. Like Troy.

Okay, now I'm going to take a break and be weepy over the commercial where the big brother is roleplaying saying no to drugs with the little brother. I would like to get my hormones surgically removed. Or maybe I could trade them. For DVDs. Like the first season of Supernatural. Right, commercial break over.

Dude! Logan! When he becomes a complete psychopath it won't even come as a surprise. So was the guy at the school, the real Mr. Stone, is he really Logan's brother? (He almost looks like he could be.) Or was the whole thing a complete setup? Oops, yes, he was the real deal. Poor guy.

Aw, and Logan puts my earlier thought about family to text. Thanks, dude.

Weevil next week!

Now I have a headache and I haven't had a good night's sleep since Saturday, so i'm going to bed and possibly getting up at 6 to do work. And if I don't, I'm finished my contracts reading and have plenty of time between classes to do Property. Go me!
