Every now and then when I drop D off at her preschool and head to the metro, I see the Toyota courtesy shuttle drive by - the service center & dealership is a mile away - and each time, I chose walking home after dropping car off and picking up when ready! And we aren't driving ours enough! Our car is two years old and we haven't hit the ten thousand miles yet! It's recommended we drive at last 250 miles aweek (average). And we are at nearly 90 miles a week.

Clearly it shouldn't have been a surprise to find our battery completely drained.

The Virginia transportation bill was a big mess before it passed. Oh what a big mess. When it did pass though, it showed the utter idiocracy that has befallen our government. The only reason some of us were happy, metro gets a little more funding for repairs, etc.
