So I starved my way through my Print class, sans caffienne, too, & headed over to the lab to get my blood test.

They close at noon.

My usual luck in action. So I will have to keep a close eye on the time tonight & make sure I finish my tea before 10. :)

Dance class got cancelled for tonight, too.

OK, no actual blood test yet. I have a form for one, though. I have to fast for 12 hours before I can get it, so I'll head over to the local place tomorrow morning before class. Turns out I did have my thyroid checked before but it was 8 years ago. In the meantime, the doc gave me some samples of lunestra to try to help me at least get to sleep ( Read more... )

I called the doc & got my appointment scheduled-- Monday at 1. The nurse commented that I haven't been in in a while & that I was due for a physical. But then she paused & asked, "Do you have insurance?" to which I replied no, & she said, "Never mind then".

So that's all set. Yea! :)

My little brother mentioned to me tonight that while he reads rgallitan's LJ, he doesn't read mine because he's afraid of what just what I might write about here. Though he didn't say outright, I imagine that he's worried I'll write about my sex life. It's rather funny, truth be told. So, chatting with almond_roy this evening, I mention that I'd managed to sleep for the entire day. He asked me if it happened often. So I explained about having some sleep issues. And he asks if I've ever had my thyroid checked. Which I haven't. I don't know much about the thyroid & what it does, other then when it goes off it can affect your weight. ( Read more... )
