Love
After the war, Harry's life changed. Well, it was not really "after the war", it was after dying. Dying was not something that should happen more than once... and yet for Harry it will. And the fact did not agree with him at all.
It also did not agree with his friends. They tried their best to act as if everything was normal, when it was not. Harry's magic was erratic, his body was broken and also his mind suffered. The obvious once was the slight shaking, that sometimes took over his body, or on really bad days his epilepsy like symptoms. Light was the biggest issue. Light hurt, and blinking light even more so.
Christmas time on the outside was only half as fun, when one had difficulty with all the blinking lights around.
It had been this weird situation when Draco found him.
After too many Cruciacus treatments, his body was broken too, though he could handle the lights, and had no epilepsy symptoms at all, he was also the only one in Harry's surroundings who understood how the shaking was impairing a normal life: it was hard to eat, difficult to drink, there was no way he could fly a broom, aiming spells ws nearly a gambling thing to do.... especially considering his magic.
Now they handled stuff together. For Christmas they hid at Malfoy Manor, where the lights were dim and not blinking at all, where Harry could enjoy the festive season in a cosy private way, he could handle.
They would move back to town in April, when living in Grimmauld Place was not all that grimm, and they have made quite the improvements. Harry dared to say that he liked the way it looked every year a bit better.
"Found you. Honestly if you order Hot chocolate, it would be nice if you didn't relocate to another room and make me search for you," Draco said, handing him the half filled cup of hot chocolate.
It was the little things: the cup was not fully filled, so he wouldn't spill anything. But also Draco put in some cream and covered it with coco powder. It made Harry smile.
"I was just lamenting, how lucky I was, when you found me."
"It was a lucky day for the both of us, I can assure you," Draco replied, though he was still blushing.
"I love you, you know?"
"Sure you do. I am filthy rich, come with a nice manor house that is all quiet and am sexy as hell, what is not to love."
"Never to mention coco deliveries whenever I want them."
"Never to mention that."
