Watching
There were many things that Harry enjoyed about his returning year in Hogwarts.
The classes, and learning without fear. Sleeping in his dorm, seeing the relieved faces of all his friends that were put though so much. Discovering his animagus and flying around the castle as an owl. He loved the fact that he was an owl: no wizard batted an eyelash about nearby owls, he loved the flying, and that he saw really far and heard even further. And the fly quietly and fast was the most amazing thing ever. He loved the secrets he uncovered, though not all made him happy.
Of course coming back he also picked up old habits again. Basically he was watching Draco again, constantly if he got away with it. And as an owl he got away with it often.
That was, how he found out that Draco, too, was an animagus Just a very different kind. And very cute. And beautiful, even if he just recently started to look healthier.
It was as an owl that he discovered Draco stopped eating in the great hall. As far as he could see it had to do, that most of his food was simply not save for him, which worried Harry quite a bit.
But then he found out that Draco was able to turn himself in a squirrel and as such he tended to stuff his face with every available food. And what with Hagrid feeding the wildlife around Hogwarts, it was a relief to see, that Draco would at least not starve.
And he was such a cute and beautiful creature. Harry couldn't gent enough of watching him.
And maybe... maybe tomorrow he would also have the courage to talk to him.
