Where: The Home Economics classroom
When: August 30th
Warnings: THERE WILL BE BLOOD...if someone pricks their finger on a needle

[The first thing you might notice coming into class today is that there is a weird object placed on everyone’s desks. They all vary in shapes and sizes and if you touch them, they might start moving around and making different noises, like blips and bops and unholy wails. They’re Gyroids!

Once Sable is done situating everything, she starts up class.]

Hello, class! Today, I’ll be guiding you through some basic sewing. You might not have plans to do something as big as designing your own clothing, but it’s good to know how to patch up clothing just so that they can last longer. Why buy more if you can repair what you already have? Especially if you’re already very tight on money!

So, what I have here in front of you are just some little articles of clothing that have various rips and tears in them. What I want you to do is to take your needle and a spool of thread and sew the clothing back together again. To help model everything, I had a friend from back home send me these Gyroids. When the clothing is ripped up like this, it won’t fit properly on the Gyroid. So, you’ll know if you sew up everything correctly if you can have it fit perfectly!

One more thing, this is something my friend told me...they usually stay still like this, but they can be pretty easy to activate. So, if you’re working on one and they suddenly start moving or making weird noises, then I think if you tap on them they should stop. But hopefully they don’t have a mind on their own…well of course not, that would be silly! But still.

((Just in case for whatever reason you want to be specific on which Gyroid your character is working on or at least to see what they can do, I found this video that shows every Gyroid in City Folk. You can use that as a guide, if you’d like, but obviously it's not necessary!))
