Let's Have a Dance Class. Again.
Cast: Nabooru, Open
Date: 8/29 - Early Afternoon (Backdating :[)
Synopsis: We haven't had one for a while. Nabooru's starting the new unit today for the next two months or so. Get yourselves dressed and ready for the passionate and angry pasodoble. GET YOUR SPANISH ON, GAIZ.
Location: Nabooru's classroom, of course!
Warnings: Ripping off skirts. Uh. Probably not. Unless we got some desk action going on.

She wandered back and forth in front of her desk as she gestured to various points of the demonstration footage she had chosen for her class's new study. She had wanted to move off of bellydancing, as enjoyable as it was, and onto something a little more furious and blood boiling. In fact, most of it had been to keep her blood boiling in good ways, rather than some kind of vengeful anger and hatred.
She directed her pointer toward the screen carefully. "My class. This is the pasodoble. It's a traditional dance that came from southern France and has been mostly associated with Spanish and Portuguese cultures and music styles. In the pasodoble, it's required that the lead be strong. Someone who lacks leadership qualities or the charisma, cannot appropriately lead the dance."
Then came a rhythmic tapping to the music and she counted the steps aloud for a few measures. "Watch how they step. Watch how crisp their movements are. Accentuate your lines. The pasodoble is a dance for you to feel. It is not something to be simply heard or watched. It is something that remind you of how you live in the moment."
Her body tensed and she outstretched her hands in demonstration. "In the pasodoble, you are literally grabbing the bull by the horns. You control your destiny and your fate!" Then she quieted down. "Within reason, of course."
