What: It's a date. Nabooru, being the 'kindhearted' wench she is, is showing Byrne around. With no ulterior motives at all. Seriously.
Warnings: Nabooru's not quite back to her old self yet, so no.
Since when had she gotten good at waiting? Nabooru stared at her shoes as she walked in silence, mostly lost in thought. Once upon a time, only a couple years before according to the academy and her numerous trips back and forth between Hyrule, the desert, and so on, Nabooru was a rather unruly thing. With help from Knuckles, Goose, Shinon, and the others, she had changed from the wild and untamed spirit into someone a little more enjoyable.
Still, some days she missed the person she used to be, even though who she was in the present was much better.
She rubbed her hands over her face in contemplation and when she saw the courtyard come into sight, she paused momentarily. That Byrne guy. He didn't seem like he really wanted to go. She couldn't blame him, she guessed. When it came to first impressions, Nabooru sucked at them. Still. Which was a bit unfortunate, but sometimes impossible to avoid. Or so the excuse would have been if someone accused her rightfully of it.
But maybe he would show. It was really just a toss of the coin by this point.
