[Tails writes for the entire 20 minutes. He's better at trying out his ideas in action, but this was an assignment after all... He started off with a list of what he might be able to make, and then wrote out descriptions of them. Towards the end, though, he was getting too into the assignment and was starting to draw out blueprint sketches off to the side.

[Amp was kind of in and out of attention for about five minutes, but for the rest of the fifteen minutes, she wrote as much as she could jot down on the paper.
Re: [ASSIGNMENT PAPERS]boxingmidgetFebruary 3 2011, 03:32:50 UTC
[Mac had been paying full attention but had a little issue with the paper. Not by means of him not getting some sort of ideas and writing them down, but rather his own faith in what he was writing. He had ideas, but which one was the right one she was looking for? Samus, you were being a little hard, okay. He didn't want that "F". Failing was not allowed. He would be seen writing something and erasing it a number of times. Then he buckled down after, say, the third time probably of erasing the daylights of his paper and murdering his pencil eraser. He had to stop be foolish and dumb and actually do what he did best which was try his best. So he wrote some blurbs and finally finished.

[Samus is torn as these answers are all more or less correct. Useful? Questionable. Plausible uses as a weapon? ...possible. APPLE KID GETS. AN APPLE A wow.]

1. If EMPs come from nukes then everyone is dead anyway 2. Move to the Cyborg Dimension and kill everyone but you with a really big EMP 3. Hook one up to the brakes of somebody's shitty hybrid car 4. Go to a hospital and ruin everyone on life support 5. Beat somebody with your EMP-shooter thing (preferably not a nuke) 6. Or just throw it (also not a nuke) 7. Fuck up streetlights 8. Wait for Robot Apocalypse to kill everyone, then kill the robots 9. Ruin all the lights so everybody has to waste a move slot on a shitty Flash TM to see 10. End boring Powerpoint lectures prematurely
[The more Char writes, the more he kind of wants one of these. Oh, the shenanigans he could get up to.]
[Samus' mind is blown. These are all correct answers and it doesn't look like Char pilfered these from anywhere else other than his own colorful thoughts. B+ and a note:
1. If the EMP is coming from a nuke and is not detonated high enough into the atmosphere, certainly you'll be worrying more about the effects of nuclear radiation than an EMP blast. The atmosphere's job is to protect the planet from radiation, hence why if a nuke is detonated high enough in one, all we feel is the EMP blast.
You're surprising me with your insightful thinking, I hope I don't have to get used to it.]

::EMP engines are apparently a topic of discussion common on partners who happen to be compatible, yet show a complete ignorance about each other's feelings... For example:
-Mr. Falcon seems more interested on Ms. Aran rather than the well-being of the class -Ms. Aran indeed missed her red lipstick this morning, not that her slight blush helped decor her face better when Mr. Falcon said something to her. -Previous observation notes during class conclude that Ms. Aran can be quite intelligent on her remarks, but she seems to have a cold air towards definition and explanations of the more human kind. Machines and mechanisms seem more suited to her style and life-style tho... - Mr. Falcon kept staring at her chest area, why? She had nothing on it and it was a clean piece of clothing. - Now he seems to be worried about her behind. He seems rather busy taking a good look rather than actually engaging on a meaningful conversation. -Maybe Mr. Falcon is more of a tactical person than a talkative one... I wonder if--::

What did it all boil down to?

- Stopping the elecromotor functions that animate the muscles in zombies.
- Powering a gun eraser that erases guns by powering it with an EMP device.
- An EMP timer that is set to go off twenty seconds after the voting period for 'Final Destination City Idol' begins.
- A way to turn bottles of laundry detergent into bottles of bleach using an EMP device.
- A method of shielding a robot meant to travel through time from an EMP device so that it will be the only functioning robot in a certain area.
- Making a device that turns an EMP pulse into confetti.
And other such sundry EMP ideas.::
