What: Sparring Match #2! Tails and Panther have a fight and also show off my sexy movesets which I created for both
Where: Stadium, simulating Final Destination
When: Thursday, July 3rd at some point

Panther arrived on the field right on the dot. As he stepped inside, he noticed the stadium had taken on a completely different form within

Tails broke from his inner thoughts when his opponent arrived. He hadn't seen him before, a single name in a sea of students was something he couldn't readily recall. He was quite tall, despite being a similar form to himself. Perhaps in the world where he was from, the denizens were taller (oh how he wished he could be from there!).

It was more than his height that made him stand out, it was his voice which carried an exotic accent and rich tone. It somehow made him feel intimidated and plain in comparison. Tails merely nodded, craning his neck up to meet the eyes of his opponent.

"Y..yes. But please call me Tails. It's nice to meet you, Panther..." Tails didn't sound meek but he didn't sound overbearing with confidence either. He worked hard in the inside to build up his courage before the countdown at least.

"'Tails,' right," he repeated the name to try and make it stick, but chances are, they probably wouldn't be speaking after this match anyway. But perhaps he'd remember the kid, if only for the peculiarity of his having two tails-now that wasn't something one would see every day, even on Fortuna. "It's nice to meet you as well~" Panther replied out of politeness with his rich drawl.

"Let's fight with honor," he said, tossing the rose to the ground, as the countdown sounded.

3... 2... 1... Go!

"Shall we?"

The moment Panther spoke (and countdown ended), Tails ran at Panther, took a high leap and punched him square in the nose before landing and backing up a few steps. A knee-jerk reaction from the younger fox, looking for a way to build his confidence.

He felt a bit scared at an impending reaction from cat, but yet he felt at least some sort of satisfaction from landing the ever vital first strike. It was something that Sonic had taught the fox. A particular quote came to his mind from his earlier years 'Don't get hit, kid', he told him.

Tails nodded and set out to follow that.

Tails thought for sure that would've made for a quick KO, but clearly his opponent was pretty determined to stay on the stage. Tails curled himself into a ball and rolled back to avoid the kick. The young fox deduced he had an advantage by pressuring Panther to stay at the ledge. If he can keep him there, Tails could get his first KO shortly.

Tails leaped up into the air summoned another invention of his, the Energy Ball Shooter. A red device that attaches to his right hand -- it teleports at his command -- shoots out a large ball of electricity. He likened this invention as his wild-card, a move best used as a surprise, thanks to the slow trajectory of the ball and its multiple hits.

He aimed the shot downward at an angle as Panther get up on the ledge.

After climbing back on the stage, he looked up to see a ball crackling with energy headed towards him. That... looked like it would hurt. Even though it was somewhat slow, he probably wouldn't be able to dodge it in time since he took a bit too long climbing back onto the stage.

As it neared, he threw his hands into a defensive stance, a deep red bubble encasing him. "Keh-!" Though the shield protected him, it had pushed him back too close for comfort to the ledge again.

It was time for Tails to capitalize on the situation. Upon landing on the ground, he made a dash for Panther again and jumped up to hit his face with both of his tails. 'With enough force, this should push him over again' he calculated as he performed the attack 'then I'll hover over and see what he does.'

"Ah-!" With enough force behind the double-tailed attack, Panther was knocked off the stage again, a bit further away than last time. He tried to calculate the increasing distance between him and the ledge.

He probably wouldn't make it.

Still, he'd at least try his best to recover. One jump-move right-two jumps-move more to the right... And then the risky move; either he'd make it or he wouldn't.

He pulled out his rapier again, flipping up to perform his Cyclone in hopes of adding momentum to his jump and perhaps catch Tails in his recovery-slash-attack.
