G&W Sparring Match #2

What: Sparring Match #2! Tails and Panther have a fight and also show off my sexy movesets which I created for both
Where: Stadium, simulating Final Destination
When: Thursday, July 3rd at some point
Rating: PG for like...fighting
Tails came as prepared as he could for the sparring match. Although not an active student in Mr. Game & Watch's classes, Tails had listened to recordings of his previous lectures. The young fox was looking forward to this event, as it would be the first time he fought in an academy based around fighting (though he noted the large amount of non-fighting classes).
He found himself nervous for most of the day, something he didn't think would happen. Fortunately, Tails found his incentive for this twofold; to prove himself to Sonic, and to get a good grade the class. Mostly driven by the former, he looked forward to telling Sonic all about how he could defend himself.
Some time earlier in the day, Tails looked up a simple 'catalog' of stages available for the sparring. Upon desiring something simple, he picked 'Final Destination', a stage which carried an ominous tone. The mystique was furthered upon actually seeing the stadium transform to simulate it.
A long platform floating into a vast expanse of space, Final Destination did good work of making the people within it feel so small. Tails was wowed by the sea of stars and cosmos surrounding the lone platform, which consisted of various alloys and even mesh, but ultimately is a single flat floor. To further its impact, the place was entirely silent. A single footstep created an echo which traveled endlessly beyond.
'Stages can't defeat its fighters' he thought to assure himself 'I can't let this place bother. It's just so eerie...' The two-tailed fox stopped short of regretting his decision but at least when Panther arrived he would feel relief to some degree.
He lay standing in wait, looking around at the foreign clusters of stars and galaxies beyond.
