Well, that Culinary Arts class was a bit of a mishap.
No, in fact, it was a huge mishap. Selene didn't exactly have faith in her cooking skills, but she did want to learn and try her hand at it. Apparently, Volgin believed that all women should know how to cook. Why was that, she wondered? She was honestly confused, as she was living proof that not all women knew how to prepare food. The food that she made wasn't quite appetizing, to say the least, so that was proof enough. Not to mention, this wasn't the first time her tries for cooking went in awry.
She needed to try. She needed to do her best. That's why she was a student for this class. She couldn't possibly back out now without feeling extremely guilty for it, even if it meant having a failing class on her report card. That would be a huge 'owwie', though. A really, really huge 'owwie'. Hopefully, she could still graduate regardless.
They planned for tutoring today. She was more than prepared, and had arrived after her classes were finished. She knocked.
