Louie stood in his dorm room with an open cookbook in his hands, nice and clean and ready to go. He was wearing one of his more casual outfits, consisting of a light blue, long-sleeved shirt (with the sleeves rolling up higher than his elbows, of course), some jeans, and a pair of brown shoes. Nothing too fancy, because... well, they were going out on a casual lunch outing, of course.
He was excited as to where they would go, whether it may be an eatery where Louie had gone to before, or an entirely new place that he didn't know of. It may be all up to Knuckles as to where they would be going, seeing as he was taking Louie for lunch... yet he could think of some good places to take him if the echidna hadn't decided on a specific cafe or something. Either way, it was an outing with a friend and it... involved food. It couldn't really be much better than that.
He flipped through the pages of his book and licked his lips at the illustrations inside, waiting for the expected knock at the door.
