Well, it was time to begin. Again. Robotnik was happy to do something, ANYTHING, that got him away from the ship for a while. He was starting to go nuts.
And so it was, that as Robotnik's students began to file into the usual classroom, there stood the fat bastard, scribbling things down on the whiteboard behind him. When they had all arrived, he whirled around and bellowed, "Welcome to your first POLITICAL SCIENCE LECTURE!! I am your instructor, THE GREAT DOCTOR ROBOTNIK! THE GREATEST SCIENTIFIC GENIUS IN THE WORLD!!!"
"In this class, I will teach you about major systems of government from the past, present, and especially the FUTURE! For now, we will begin with the system of government you are all probably most familiar with: DEMOCRACY. Democracy comes from the ancient Greek words 'Demos', meaning 'People', and 'Krata', meaning 'to rule'," he explained, beginning to write the key words on the whiteboard for anyone paying attention. "So democracy refers to rule by the people! In ancient Athens Greece, where the concept originated, this took the form of a great council, where all the citizens of Athens gathered to discuss how to run their city state. And before you ask, that did not mean every person was a citizen! To be a citizen you had to be a male landowner. Women, the poor, and slaves were not considered citizens."
"Of course, this is not how government is run today! Today's governments, like in our own Final Destination City, operate on what we refer to as 'Representative Democracy'," he continued, scribbling the words down like a proper teacher. It would not last long. "Because modern nations and cities are so large that getting every person's opinion on a matter is impossible. That's why we now elect REPRESENTATIVES, who we believe will best represent our interests and govern us accordingly!"
"And it has always been my philosophy that people should GET what they DESERVE!!" he declared, slamming down the marker. "Today, I will tell you what it REALLY takes to RULE! It takes FORCE, DETERMINATION, PERSISTENCE, and CHARISMA!! The world has to know you mean BUSINESS!! And today, you will PRACTICE!!"
He pulled a remote control from his pocket and pressed the button. A large curtain pulled away near the far wall, revealing a large green screen and a big trunk. "Inside that trunk is props and accessories," he explained. "Equip yourselves, and then stand in front of the screen. We will create whatever setting you prefer, and then I want you to DECLARE TO THE WORLD YOUR INTENT TO RULE!!" he demanded. So GET TO IT!!
