Very early on Wednesday the 22nd of April - a week from today - I'm to have my appendix removed in the Hermitage Clinic, hopefully putting an end to my problems with it (my recent colonoscopy having been completely clear). We made it to the hotel for a wee while, and met, besides autopope, Feorag, mizkit, chefted, jemck, desperance, clanwilliam, gmh, cuddles_batcave, Oisín McGann, and Colin Smythe, all of whom were at the signing in Chapters, we then met pgmcc, lostcarpark, splinster, Michael and Leonia Carroll, Kim Newman, Eugene Byrne, and old friends Leah Moore and John Reppion, and no doubt many others who aren't coming to mind.
