Dust to dust, silicon to silicon...
I just came home from a shopping round where I bought... nothing. At all. I think I must be ill. Well, I did buy some face lotion, but that doesn't count. To make up for this scandalous lack of consumer-behaviour, I shopped myself a new mobile online. Also, I ordered some graphic novels last night, so... I've done a little shopping. But all the same, coming home from a shopping round with nothing in your bag? Odd, I say. Very Ood.
Before today, I'd decided that I didn't want at phone with a big, shiny display for me to put fingerprints all over. Then I went along and bought this:
Samsung U700
Um. Yes. It's got two (2!) cameras, among other things. What on earth I'm gonna do with two bloody cameras in my cell is something of mystery at the moment, but at least it's cute. Moreover, it's being cute for a good price. My old, beloved phone is beginning to show the ageing sings of a cellphone with a limited lifespan, poor thing, poor thing. I managed to break the display at work, too. Poor thing, poor thing. (Yes, I'm aiming for a part in Sweeny Todd.)
It's party week in Syndsvall, I'll be working a lot, though. And go to movies on Thursday AND on Monday. Payday made me a rich woman, indeed. ^_^ I most definitely won't be bringing my new phone to work, though. Having two (2) phones suddenly seem important. I know, I'm such a sucker for stuff, shinies and technology. Woe is me!
