I found out that Bill Callahan from Smog has a solo album out...I ran round my sitting room in excitment. His voice makes me so miserable, hollow, regretful  HAPPY!  You should go get it/listen to it.

I am so immature - I thought this song was the funniest thing I'd ever heard when I was 15...and it still cracks me up. It's not just the awfully crass lyrics, it's the passion he sings them with.

Day 15 A Song you Liked in High School

Hmm, at 14/15 I was listening to a lot of ska/punk revival; Sublime, Reel Big Fish, Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, Fenix TX etc. Towards the end of my GCSE's I moved onto heavier stuff, industrial metal and prog. But I still have a real fondness for ska punk: brass band, silly lyrics, Aloha shirts.
