I did sort of attempt to find a roommate (word of mouth from Sue-Ting). However, she wisely decided to go to the dorms her first year at Cal (she's transferring). Ah well. I'll just have to make an effort to exercise more so that I don't gain weight while living at home. And learn to get up super-early.

And now I'm crying. Thank you, dear mother, for making a situation I was neutral and calm about into something that makes me feel pathetic and hopeless.
